Keri Ingle

All about

Keri Ingle

I ran for office because I was tired of watching politicians put headlines before real solutions. I’ve never stopped listening, showing up, and doing the work — and I’m not stopping now."

Proud public servant

Keri Ingle is a mom, a master social worker, and the current state representative for House District 35 — serving Lee’s Summit and fighting every day for practical, commonsense solutions that improve the lives of Missouri families. Now, she’s running for State Senate District 8 to bring that same passion, integrity, and commitment to even more Missourians.

Keri was raised in a military family that instilled in her the values of service, hard work, and community — principles that have shaped every step of her career. After earning her degree in Criminal Justice and later a Master’s in Social Work, Keri went to work protecting Missouri’s most vulnerable children at the Jackson County Children’s Division. That experience — working with families in crisis and navigating broken systems — ignited her drive to fight not just for individuals, but for lasting change.

In 2018, with strong grassroots and labor support, Keri flipped House District 35 blue for the first time in its history. Since then, she has become a trusted, bipartisan voice in the legislature, leading efforts to expand mental health care access, especially for children, improve the foster care system, secure protections for vulnerable children in group homes,  defend public education, and support first responders and public safety.

She champions paid family leave, access to child care, and workforce development, and has been a consistent opponent of anti-worker legislation like “Right to Work” and paycheck deception. Keri is also a fierce defender of reproductive freedom and the constitutional right to make personal healthcare decisions without government interference.

Keri lives in Lee’s Summit with her two children and remains deeply rooted in the community. Whether in courtrooms, classrooms, or at the Capitol, she brings a clear and consistent mission: fight for what’s right, amplify the voices of those too often ignored, and build a better Missouri for the next generation.
